Government Starts Constructing 3 billion Amolo Seed Ss
Construction of Amolo Seed secondary school, in Amolo sub-county in Amuria district worth 3 billion under UGIFT programme has been launched.
CAB Uganda Limited was awarded the contract to construct the school. Works on the school will last for a period of 12 months ..
The ground breaking ceremony for the construction of the school was presided over by the State Minister for works and transport Hon.Musa Ecweru.
The minister in his speech applauded government for bringing the long awaited school to his constituency.
Ecweru emphasized the contractor to ensure timely and quality work and warned against shoddy work.He asked the community members to embrace the project saying three quarters of the children who will study in this school should come from Amolo.
Angella Akurut, the Amuria district Chief Administration Officer revealed that the works on the school includes 2 classroom blocks, administration block, 2 stand VIP latrines for the staff, 5 boys and 5 stance pit latrines for girls respectively.
This school will be built in phased manner.
Bosco Ongareno, the executive director CAB Uganda Limited pledged to deliver quality work.
Meanwhile, Lilian Eyal the district Resident Commissioner Amuria applauded the minister for works for lobbying for the construction of the school.
